WHY A NEW COMMUNITY NETWORK ?
FREQUENT OUTAGES & LOW SPEED
The existing data network (transmission via cable TV) does not allow to ensure the quality, speed and stability of the Internet connection. The main disadvantages are:

There are speed reductions and outages caused by technological limitations of transmission over coaxial cable.

In case of disconnection (or bad contact) of the coaxial cable, the other owners will lose the connection. Outages also occur when multiple devices are involved, reducing speed and reliability.

Another cause of outages is renovations of apartments where the TV socket is replaced or tampered with. Sometimes the coaxial TV cable is broken. For this reason, signal interruption or signal degradation on the coaxial cable also occurs. The coaxial TV network is difficult to diagnose and without measuring equipment it is difficult to determine the cause. The only diagnosis is to check the TV connection in each apartment, which is very difficult.

There is no documentation or scheme ( according to Altamnn & Partner ) for the coaxial (cable TV) distribution in the house. There are no revision reports.
ADAPTERS CAN´T BE PURCHASED
Another problem is that the existing Corinex adapters (which are used for data transmission via cable TV) cannot be replaced. We have the last 3 Corinex adapters in stock. The others are not available and cannot be ordered (production has been discontinued). With the current trend of failure rates of these adapters, it's on the order of 6-8 months (maybe less). Once these adapters sell out, owners (if they need a new one) will lose their internet connection in their apartment.
Another problem is that we have to pay an external company to maintain this network.

The creation of a new community network will solve the problem of data transmission over coaxial cable. This "stand-alone network" will be physically separated from the existing distribution network (used for TV signal transmission). Only a dedicated network (star topology) will solve the problem of availability, speed and diagnostics of the local network.
The good news is that the owners already have experience with the community network, as the existing (internet) network over cable TV was built in this form.

Final solution
In case you decide to use the community local area network, the existing Corinex adapter for data transfer will no longer be needed. The internet connection will be terminated in the data socket = connected directly to the access point (Wifi Access point via PoE).
